What is C.R.A.P.?

Most good web designers already know C.R.A.P. but might not be able to put it into words if you asked them, 'What makes a good web design?'

C.R.A.P is the designer's acronym for:

Contrast
Repetition
Alignment
Proximity

These four elements, coupled with the principles of usability and SEO, make for a formidable website!

About me

I am a passionate web designer who has been working in the industry for the past five years. During this time, I worked on a number of projects; including two full scale website redesigns for Cloggs.co.uk and EmailCash.com.au (now known as RewardsCentral).

My recent experience at Cloggs.co.uk allowed me to extend my skills towards team management, and the redesign project gave me a taste of large scale project management.

The EmailCash website redesign began when I joined the company in 2007 and was still going when I left almost a year later. This project was largely responsible for a huge leap in my knowledge of HTML and CSS, and cross-browser compatibility.
